Motorists who regularly use 10th Street in Midtown will need to find a detour around a repair project for the next four weeks. Work begins Monday, Jan. 12.

10th Street between Piedmont Avenue and Juniper Street will be closed for emergency sewer repairs, according to the Atlanta Watershed Department.

Residents and businesses in the work area will maintain access to homes, mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash collection, according to an announcement on the closure.

According to Atlanta Watershed, here are two of the detours that will be in place over the four-week period:

Motorists traveling eastbound on 10th Street NE turn right on Juniper  Street NE., left on 8th Street NE., left on Piedmont Avenue NE., and  right on 10th Street NE.

Motorists traveling South on Juniper Street NE turn left on 8th Street NE., left on Piedmont Ave NE., and right on 10th Street NE.
