MARKET UPDATE

📉 Stocks finished the week mixed as the S&P 500 barely moved, the Dow slid, and the Nasdaq rose, capping a second straight losing week after tariff threats and drama over Greenland rattled investors.

Locally, Delta Air Lines dropped by 1.44 percent while Home Depot rose by about 0.7 percent. Equifax dipped by nearly 2 percent, and Coca-Cola rose by 1.39 percent.

⚖️ In an ongoing open records lawsuit, a Fulton County judge ordered Sandy Springs to provide Appen Media access to previously withheld police records.

🏡 The push to have Ansley Park’s Peachtree Circle designated as a city historic district took on a more urgent note this week after the demolition of one of the street’s oldest homes.

♻️ The clean energy advocate who was accused of stealing a booklet labeled as containing “trade secrets” during an energy regulatory hearing will not be indicted.

⚖️ The estate of Cornelius Taylor, the 46-year-old man killed last January during a homeless encampment clearing operation in Atlanta, has filed a second civil lawsuit.

📺 The Savannah College of Art and Design has announced the lineup for the 2026 SCAD TVfest, including stars like Jeff Probst, Lili Reinhart, and more.

📷 The White House posted a digitally altered image of a Minnesota activist to make her appear to be crying during her arrest, calling it a “meme.”
