After drawing thousands of visitors in London, Paris and Berlin, “Serial Killer: The Exhibition” will make its U.S. debut in Atlanta.

Opening Saturday, Feb. 7, at Pullman Yards in Kirkwood, the exhibition is transforming the historic site into a 27,000-square-foot immersive experience that “examines the minds, methods and histories of some of the world’s most notorious serial killers,” said a press release.

Developed from over a decade of research from collectors, historians, criminologists and forensic specialists, the exhibit features a large collection of certified items that are connected to serial killers from every continent.

The Atlanta version of the showcase has more than 2,100 original artifacts on display (over 1,100 more than its Berlin counterpart), making it the largest serial killer exhibition ever assembled, according to a release.

Among the items that are showcased include Ted Bundy’s dental mold, John Wayne Gacy’s typewriter, Jeffrey Dahmer’s glasses and court documents, Richard Ramirez’s original tie and wristwatch, Ed Gein’s original signature and more.

Exclusive to the Atlanta iteration is a new section that focuses solely on serial killers across the United States, highlighting more than 40 cases from the nation’s history. The informative section explores a variety of categories such as women serial killers, criminal duos, extreme personality disorders and the portrayal of masked killers in cinema, to name a few.

Organizers of the exhibition say that it utilizes “a strictly documentary, museum-based approach throughout,” with emphasis given to “historical context, evidence and expert analysis over shock, fiction or dramatization.”

Outside of the crime examination displays, the exhibition also pays homage to the numerous victims through photographs, testimonies, reflective installations, as well as a quiet space for remembrance.

Serial Killer: The Exhibition” is recommended for visitors ages 14 and up, with younger guests requiring adult supervision to attend.

Tickets for the exhibit are on sale now and can be purchased online at feverup.com.
