Casa Bembe
Buckhead

Cuban restaurant Casa Bembe opened on Roswell Road in Buckhead.

788 Omakase Table
West Midtown

Omakase Table’s sister restaurant, 788 Omakase Table, is now open at 788 W. Marietta St. NW. Expect to spend $195 per person on a 14-course meal.

& Cheese
Midtown

Gourmet grilled cheese and soup spot & Cheese relocated from Lenox Mall to an expanded location on Peachtree near the Fox Theatre.

Dos Caminos
Midtown

A Midtown location of Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos opened, taking over the former Oceanaire Seafood Room at 1100 Peachtree. Owned by the same company as Oceanaire, this will be the chain’s sixth location. In addition to lunch and dinner, expect happy hour and weekend brunch.

Cuevacía
Colony Square, Midtown

Cuevacía, a Oaxacan and Northern Mexican restaurant owned by William Pitts of Saints & Council, opened at Colony Square. It replaces sushi spot Sukoshi across from 5Church.

Bar Lewis
Ansley Mall

Bar Lewis opened directly across from Lewis Barbecue at Ansley Mall. Located right off the Beltline, Bar Lewis features ample patio seating.

Bobo Izakaya
Toco Hills

Japanese restaurant Bobo Izakaya is now open at the Toco Hill Shopping Center.

Casa Coya
Reynoldstown

Renzo Kuong Arrayan’s (Pisco Latin Kitchen) steakhouse and ceviche bar, Casa Coya, opened in Reynoldstown.

Hippin Hops Brewpub & Oyster Bar 
East Atlanta Village

Hippin Hops Brewpub & Oyster Bar relaunched under new ownership. The brewpub shifted to highlighting local brewers and a more robust culinary menu, which includes an oyster menu featuring more than 10 styles of preparation. 

Ruki’s Kitchen
Peoplestown

Ethiopian spot Ruki’s Kitchen opened in Switchman Hall at Terminal South.

Zephyr and Bar Z
South Downtown

Southern-French restaurant Zephyr and Bar Z are now open at the new Phoenix Hotel in South Downtown.

Brews & Hops Taproom
Chamblee

Brews & Hops Taproom is now open in Chamblee. In addition to more than 40 beer and wine self-pour taps, Brews & Hops offer a selection of nonalcoholic beer and snacks, like Indian-fusion flatbreads, wings, and chaat.

Laylo Cafe
Chamblee

Coffee, matcha, and dessert spot Laylo Cafe is open with a limited menu at the Manor Chamblee complex. Expect jammy strawberry matcha lattes, horchata cold brews, pastries, and intricate mousse desserts. Look for the full menu to debut on Feb. 6.

Saffron Darbar 
Sandy Springs

Indian restaurant Saffron Darbar opened in Sandy Springs at the Hammond Spring Shopping Center on Roswell Road. The shopping center is also home to BeThai Restaurant, Clay’s Sports Bar, and Jinya Ramen. 

Rosetta Bakery
Dunwoody

Rosetta Bakery will opened a second metro Atlanta location at High Street in Dunwoody. It joins a location in Buckhead, which opened last year.

Foxtail Coffee Co. 
Dunwoody

Foxtail Coffee Co. opened at Ashford Lane. It joins locations in Buckhead, Decatur, Midtown, and Tech Square.

Coming Attractions

The Victorian
Buckhead

Plant shop The Victorian will open a location at Collier Hall on Howell Mill Road soon. The shop will include a wine bar and patio, which open in late spring or early summer.

Barrel Proof
Westside Provisions District, Howell Mill Road

Barrel Proof, a New Orleans-based cocktail and whiskey bar, will open soon at Westside Provisions District. The bar takes over the former Little Trouble space beneath Ford Fry’s Marcel. 

Ikara
Atlantic Station

Ikara, a fine dining Indian restaurant, will open in Atlantic Station’s Twelve Midtown Hotel this winter. 

Taffer’s Tavern
Midtown

A franchise location of Taffer’s Tavern, backed by “Bar Rescue” host Jon Taffer, will open on Feb. 2 at the corner of Peachtree and 17th in Midtown.

Name TBD Mexican steakhouse
Midtown

Felipe Rivera and Eduardo Rivera, the owners behind Palo Santo in West Midtown, will open a new Mexican-style steakhouse in the former Lure space on Crescent Avenue in Midtown It’s unclear whether the new Midtown restaurant will be a location of ORNO Cantina & Parrilla, the Mexican-style steakhouse the pair own in Bogotá, Colombia.

Busy Bee Cafe 
South Downtown

Busy Bee Cafe will open a third location at Mitchell Tower at Centennial Yards in South Downtown in 2027. A second location at Atlantic Station should open later this year.  

 “The Golden Girls” Kitchen
Kirkwood

Bucket Listers is bringing “The Golden Girls” Kitchen to Pullman Yards next month. The pop-up cafe will open on Feb. 19 with a 1980s Miami vibe a la “The Golden Girls” kitchen, lanai, and frequent haunts like The Rusty Anchor. The menu features everything from cocktails served in glass purses to a selection of cheesecakes. Tickets go on sale Feb. 5.

Japanese snack connoisseurs will be delighted to know that Japanese lifestyle store TESO Life will open a location in Chamblee this spring. It joins a location in Duluth.

Smalls Sliders
Marietta

Smalls Sliders, a Louisiana-based chain known for tiny burgers and indulgent milkshakes, will open in Marietta this year. 

Reformation Brewery
Kennesaw

Reformation Brewery will open a new location in Kennesaw. Look for the brewery to open on Main Street in downtown Kennesaw next year.

Lala
Lawrenceville

Lala, a panaderia from pastry chef Ricky Saucedo (Pata Negra Mezcaleria), opens in Lawrenceville Square this winter.
