Rev your engines, Atlanta, because the newest location of F1 Arcade opens on Friday, Feb. 6, with a full bar, food, and 68 Formula 1 racing simulators designed to put the pedal to the metal.

Located at The Interlock on Howell Mill Road – also home to “eatertainment” venues Puttshack, The Escape Game, and Sandbox VR – F1 Arcade is inspired by the sport and culture surrounding Formula 1 Grand Prix car racing.

Walls are covered in hand-painted tire marks basking in the glow of neon. Quotes from some of F1’s most famous drivers adorn the walls, including Kimi “The Iceman” Raikkonen. The Finnish driver told his racing engineer, “Just leave me alone. I know what to do,” after taking the lead in the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

You can slide into a simulator to race against a friend or a group. The immersive experience – yes, you’ll feel every bump, curve, and crash – gives drivers multiple points-of-view so they can track other drivers on the course, upping the competition.

While waiting for a drink, or turn on the simulator, catch recent F1 races on the big screen. (F1 Arcade doesn’t replay old races, keeping the focus on the current Formula 1 season.)

The menu blends comfort food with global street foods in dishes like ahi tuna tartare, wagyu beef sliders, grilled tiger shrimp skewers, and tandoori chicken tacos. French fries come plain, seasoned with Old Bay, or served with truffle aioli. The crispy potato pave bites (thinly sliced potatoes layered together) are worth letting up on the gas for a minute.

Created by Netflix “Drink Masters” champion LP O’Brien, tasting notes accompany each cocktail on the menu, which features takes on a highball, spicy margarita, and the Clover Club. Look for a drink exclusive to Atlanta called the Georgia Tow. A riff on the Sidecar, rimmed with sugar, the Georgia Tow mixes cognac, cointreau, and Applejack (apple brandy) with peach syrup and a touch of saline. F1 Arcade will donate $1 from every Georgia Tow sold to Giving Kitchen, an Atlanta-based nonprofit supporting hospitality and food service workers in crisis.

There’s also a “Designated Drivers” nonalcoholic cocktail section, with playful spins on classic drinks, including a Moscow Mule, spritz, and gin & tonic.

Until F1 Arcade, Formula 1 fans could only watch races at a handful of bars and restaurants around Atlanta, like Yeppa in Buckhead and Manuel’s Tavern in Poncey-Highland. As the sport’s popularity grows in America, F1 Arcade will provide another viewing spot for Atlantans, opening for live watch parties – starting with the 2026 racing season opener in Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday, March 7.

“Atlanta is a dynamic, culture-forward city, and F1 Arcade is designed to bring people together, whether they’re lifelong [Formula 1] fans or brand new to the sport,” said F1 Arcade CEO Jonathan Peters in a prepared statement.

Atlanta becomes the sixth U.S. location of F1 Arcade, which includes locations in Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Denver, and Las Vegas. A Chicago location will open this summer.

F1 Arcade, 1115 Howell Mill Road, The Interlock. Open daily at 10 a.m. All ages until 7 p.m., when F1 Arcade becomes 21+. Read more about the 2026 Formula 1 racing season.
