The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is returning to Piedmont Park for its 90th year on April 10–12.

Standing as the city’s largest and longest-running fine arts festivals, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival brings in tens of thousands of visitors to Midtown each year to commemorate the blooming of the dogwood trees in the city.

The annual event was reportedly at risk of being cancelled this year, but was saved due to “a major fundraising effort” and a “vital new partnership,” according to a press release.

“We are absolutely delighted that the hard work of our board and leadership team combined with support from the community, corporate and philanthropic organizations, and the City of Atlanta has allowed the festival to continue in 2026 and hopefully, for years to come,” said Brian Hill, executive director of the Atlanta Dogwood Festival.

The upcoming spring event will feature an Artist Market that includes more than 250 artists from across the U.S., as well as live music and entertainment.

Other festival highlights include the Mimosa 5K marathon, the Party in the Park VIP experience (a ticketed event), the Kids Village (which offers a number of interactive activities for children) and the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition (a contest that showcases the work of young artists from high schools across Georgia).

Announced as this year’s presenting sponsor is Associated Credit Union, the fifth largest credit union in the state of Georgia.

“Associated Credit Union is incredibly honored to be the presenting sponsor of the 90th Annual Dogwood Festival,” said Chadwick Evans, EVP-chief lending officer for Associated Credit Union. “This festival brings our communities together to celebrate our shared culture and vibrant spirit, and we are proud to support an event that creates such lasting memories for our members and neighbors alike.”

A new change for this year’s event is that the festival will require a nominal entrance fee from attendees, an authorization that was granted by the City of Atlanta.

Weekend passes and family packages will be offered, in addition to regular tickets (which will be available in advance and at the gate).
