Atlanta United released its 2026 community kit today, drawing on the city’s 1996 Olympic Games as Atlanta prepares to host eight FIFA World Cup matches this summer.

The “Spirit of ’96” jersey uses green and gold color blocking that references both the Centennial Olympics and Atlanta’s landscape. The club will debut the kit on March 21 against D.C. United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
“We are proud to honor Atlanta, our club, and the event that put our city on the global sports map with a Community Kit that has been thirty years in the making,” said Skate Noftsinger, Atlanta United’s senior vice president and chief business officer.
The design includes a gold star-filled crest positioned over the heart, Roman numerals marking 1996 and 2026 inside the collar, and laurel wreaths on the back neck. A green sash runs diagonally across the front with a pattern of multicolored leaves.
According to the club, the green represents Atlanta’s tree canopy while the gold reflects the team’s signature color and Olympic victory. The design aims to connect Atlanta’s role as an Olympic host city with its upcoming World Cup hosting duties.
Long-time sponsors remain
American Family Insurance returns as the primary kit sponsor for the 10th consecutive season. Emory Healthcare continues as sleeve sponsor for the first team and primary sponsor for the club’s second team.
“At American Family, our mission is to inspire, protect, and restore dreams, and we know many dreamers have worn the Atlanta United kit on the pitch, as well as inspired so many fans who wear it to dream fearlessly,” said Sherina Smith, American Family Insurance chief marketing officer.
The jersey is on sale through the club’s website and retail channels starting Wed., Feb. 11. The team’s primary kit for 2026 remains “The Connector” from last season.
