Dunwoody Police have launched an investigation after a surveyor at 233 Perimeter Center Parkway found a set of skeletal remains in the woods on Feb. 11.

“A surveyor for a construction company found the remains while working there around 12:08 p.m. and notified police,” according to a statement by Dunwoody Police Sgt. Michael Cheek. “We responded and confirmed there are human skeletal remains on site. We are actively investigating this incident and will provide more details as they become available.”
Cheek said a preliminary investigation indicates the skeleton appears to be that of a middle-aged male.
