Restaurant Openings
Birmingham, AL-based barbecue restaurant Jim ‘N Nick’s opened a location in Tucker on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Jim ‘N Nick’s currently has 22 locations in Georgia. Metro Atlanta locations include South Cobb, Conyers, Snellville, Marietta, Alpharetta, McDonough, and Suwanee.
Pizza spot Baby Blue at Bluetop opened in Chamblee. They’re currently offering six pizzas, including a Buffalo chicken pie, and will add frozen custard down the line.
Chef and Food Network personality Duff Goldman opened Duff’s Deli + Market opened in Concourse C, near gate 7, at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Bar Rescue host and entrepreneur Jon Taffer has opened a location of Taffer’s Tavern in Midtown at 1382 Peachtree St. NE. This is the third Metro Atlanta location, including the original in Alpharetta and a stall at Mercedes-Benz stadium, and the fourth overall.
White Windmill Bakery & Cafe’s Midtown location has soft opened at 1331 Spring St. NW. This marks the Korean-French bakery and cafe’s fifth location overall, including the original in Doraville, two in Duluth, and the recent addition to the Lindbergh Center.
Sugar Loaf Neighborhood Bakery & Cafe soft opens today at 780 Memorial Dr. SE.
Coming attractions
Te Quiero, Tacos will open at Switchman Hall in Peoplestown sometime this month.
South Florida hospitality group The Restaurant People will open rooftop bar and lounge Jagger Suite atop downtown’s Moxy Hotel this spring.
Menu changes
How Crispy Express in Summerhill is now offering weekend brunch in lieu of breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Osteria 832 in Virginia-Highland has added Lounge 832, a late-night cocktail operation.

Zafron in Sandy Springs will now offer $8 cosmos, lemon drops, and cucumber martinis on Monday nights and half off bottles of wine priced $75 and below on Tuesdays.
Stone Mountain’s Lunar New Year festival starts Saturday, Feb. 14, and runs through March 1.
Minhwa Spirits will host a joint Lunar New Year pop-up featuring Karly’s Kitchen and Soupbelly on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dishes will pay homage to both Chinese New Year and Tet.
Ria’s Bluebird will host Teresa Martinez of Buen Provecho and Teresa Finney of At Heart Panaderia for a joint pop-up on Monday, Feb. 23, from 5 to 9 p.m. This will be Finney’s final event under the At Heart umbrella.
Drew Alexander and Marcus Bar & Grille’s Gary Caldwell will host “Food for Thought,” a Black Dollar Marketplace event on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 5 to 10 p.m.
