Dunwoody’s biggest food-and-drink block party is back with 80-plus vendors this spring.

Green Eggs & Kegs, the annual food festival hosted at Funwoody Village in Dunwoody, celebrates its fifth year on April 18, from noon to 5 p.m. The all-inclusive event gives ticket holders unlimited tastings from more than 30 food vendors and drinks from 50 beer, wine, and spirits partners.

What’s included

With tickets starting at $65 per person, general admission begins at 1 p.m., while VIP ticket holders get in at noon with access to private tastings inside restaurants, a dedicated lounge, and a commemorative festival shirt. Every attendee receives a wooden coin at check-in to cast a vote for their favorite food and drink.

The food lineup this year includes local restaurants like Chupito’s Dunwoody, Farm Burger Dunwoody, Buckhead Butcher Shop, NFA Burger, Royal Spice Indian Restaurant, Sheesh Mediterranean, Vino Venue, and Vintage Pizza, among many others.

On the beverage side, the roster spans craft breweries like Sweetwater, Gate City, Scofflaw, New Realm, and Tucker Brewing, alongside spirits from Don Julio, Jack Daniel’s, Michter’s, Old 4th Distillery, and Widow Jane. The drinks lineup also includes zero-proof options from Lyre’s and Mionetto, as well as several THC-infused beverages.

Five years in

David Abes, founder of Funwoody Restaurants, said the event has grown well beyond its original scale, as more restaurants and sponsors have sought to join each year.

“Five years ago Green Eggs & Kegs started as a way to bring our community together for great food, drinks, and a really fun afternoon,” Abes said in a press release. “Celebrating our fifth year is a milestone we’re proud of, and it reflects the passion of our restaurant partners, sponsors, and guests who continue to support local businesses.”

Live music and a charitable bent

Entertainment that day features live sets from 77Zeros and Family Truckerster, with DJ Cory handling the DJ set throughout the afternoon.

Proceeds benefit BreakthroughT1D, formerly known as JDRF, that funds type 1 diabetes research and advocacy. The event is sponsored in part by Big Green Egg, Discover Dunwoody, Regency Centers, and Sysco.

Tickets available via Eventbrite.
