The event, designed to highlight the power of public art to bring people together, will invite residents, visitors, and artists from noon to 4 p.m. to transform six existing and makeshift graffiti walls into open canvases celebrating Macon’s creativity and culture.

The graffiti walls are located at:

  • The Cherry Street Lane alleyway between the 567 Center for Renewal and Hotel 45
  • Colton Avenue Plaza in front of J. Reid’s Tavern
  • The Mulberry Street Lane alleyway beside Hello Boba Café
  • Corner of Cherry Street and 3rd Street in front of the Bohemian Den
  • The Cherry Street Lane alleyway behind Theatre Macon
  • The Broadway Lane alleyway next to the Tubman Museum, across from Cherry Street Plaza

The project is supported by Reimagining Civic Commons Macon, an initiative dedicated to strengthening shared public spaces across the city. Some art supplies will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own materials.

Macon’s Public Space Week, held this year from March 6 to 14, includes a series of free, family-friendly events including park walks, art pop-ups, and mental health activities.
