State and local leaders will gather on Wednesday, March 18, at the Georgia Freight Depot in Downtown Atlanta to discuss the factors shaping Georgia’s economic future during the inaugural “State of Economic Development” event.

Hosted by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the event will bring together business leaders, economic developers and policymakers to explore the strategies, partnerships and investments that are driving the state’s continued economic growth and competitiveness.

The event is part of the Georgia Chamber’s ongoing “State of” series, which explores the key issues that are shaping Georgia’s business climate, according to a press release.

Confirmed speakers for the upcoming event include Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development Pat Wilson, Georgia Chamber of Commerce President Chris Clark, Chief Executive Officer of the Bulloch County Development Authority Benjy Thompson, and video remarks from Gov. Brian Kemp.
