Monday, March 30 — The Braves are off to an encouraging start after winning two of three games from the Royals over the weekend. On Saturday, DH Dominic Smith, making his Braves debut less than two weeks after his mother’s death, hit a walk-off grand slam in the ninth inning to beat Kansas City 6-2. The Braves host the Athletics tonight at 7:15 p.m. (Braves.TV; 93.9 FM).

🚨 The Brookhaven Police Department has released video and images of a person of interest in a March 22 shooting. Police also announced the arrest of three suspects in a fatal gang-related shooting that killed two, also on March 22

✈️ TSA officers should receive their first paychecks in more than a month starting today, after President Trump signed an emergency executive order on Friday following the collapse of a Senate-approved deal before a two-week congressional recess.
🏀 UConn stunned Duke 73-72 to complete the men’s NCAA Tournament Final Four field, with freshman Braylon Mullins hitting a last-second three-pointer to cap a 19-point comeback. Michigan, Arizona, and Illinois also advanced. The women’s Final Four will be finalized tonight, but UConn and UCLA are in so far.

1. Photos: No Kings protests across Metro Atlanta
🪧 Thousands of protesters across Metro Atlanta turned out for Saturday’s No Kings demonstrations against the policies and actions of the Trump administration.
While the largest rally was in Downtown Atlanta, with Atlanta Police estimating 6,000 participants, there were also significant turnouts in Virginia-Highland and Tucker (pictured).

2. Skol Brewing opening 30,000-square-foot gaming lounge Downtown
🎮 Skol Brewing Company is about to get a lot bigger. The Nordic-themed brewpub in Downtown Atlanta’s 200 Peachtree building is expanding into an adjacent 30,000-square-foot space dedicated to playing games.
Valhalla Gaming Lounge should open in May, ahead of the FIFA World Cup matches this summer at nearby Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Longtime Atlantans will remember that the 200 Peachtree building, located next door to the Westin Peachtree Plaza, is the former home of Davison’s and Macy’s department stores.
