Brookhaven police officials are investigating another shooting at the Peachtree Road Kroger, which resulted in a man being hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds.
According to BPD officials, police responded to a call at 1:59 a.m. on April 13, at 3871 Peachtree Road, “in reference to a person shot.”

“Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds,” the statement said.
Officers provided first aid until the DeKalb County Fire Department and DeKalb AMR took over life-saving measures. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time, the statement said.
This is the second shooting in less than a month at this location. BPD arrested Vesselin G. Tzvetkov, 79, on April 1 in connection with the shooting of a 75-year-old on March 22, according to a release from the department.
“The arrest marks a significant development in the investigation into the incident that left a 75-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen,” the release about Tzketkov’s arrest said. “Following swift investigative work, detectives successfully identified and located Tzvetkov, demonstrating the department’s commitment to solving serious crimes in the community.”
The investigation on the April 13 shooting is still active, and no further information can be released at this time, officials said.
