On May 2, Tucker’s Main Street will be transformed into a family-friendly festival celebrating the annual tradition of Tucker Day. The event will include a parade, live music, local vendors, and activities for the whole family.
Main Street will close to traffic on May 1 at 5 p.m., and the festivities kick off at 9 a.m. the following morning with the opening ceremony. At 10 a.m., the parade will step off from Railroad Avenue and travel up Main Street. The “human-powered” parade will include walkers in costume, leashed pets, and “floats” on vehicles like bikes and scooters.
Participants in the parade will check in and receive their staging area assignments at the Tucker Optimist Club Booth at the intersection of Main Street and Railroad Avenue by 9 a.m.

Tucker Day will feature three stages for live musical performances. The entertainment starts directly after the parade with a battle of the bands on the First Avenue Main Stage between Tucker High School Band and The Marching Abominable Feed and Seed Band.
