The state of Jewish education
👩🏼🏫 A new report from the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta takes a closer look at enrollment, staffing, inclusion, affordability and community trends in Jewish education from early childhood to supplemental programming.
The report found that Atlanta’s Jewish education ecosystem currently serves 6,576 learners from preschool through 12th grade, supported by 1,141 Jewish educators across 20 preschools, seven day schools and 25 supplemental Jewish education programs.
📉 The 2025-2026 Atlanta Jewish Education Landscape Report collected data from leaders in the field to capture trends and challenges facing the community.
Rabbi Elana Perry, vice president of Jewish Education at Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, said the report provides data needed “to make strategic decisions, strengthen partnerships, and invest in a vibrant Jewish future.”
“Jewish education in Atlanta is growing, evolving, and adapting to meet the needs of today’s families,” Perry said.
Key findings:
1️⃣ A median of 55% of day school students and 20% of preschool students receive tuition assistance.
2️⃣ Supplemental Jewish education enrollment increased 3% since last year.
3️⃣ Jewish Day School enrollment has rebounded since 2021, growing 9% over five years following a decade of decline.

Nearly half of young U.S. Jews want to replace Israel with binational state, poll finds
🇮🇱 Almost half of American Jews under 35 say the Israeli-Palestinian conflict should be solved by creating a single country in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza with a government elected by both Israelis and Palestinians, according to a poll conducted by the Jewish Voter Resource Center.
The findings signal a generational shift in U.S. support for a binational state in Israel, reflecting a core demand of anti-Zionist protests on college campuses and beyond — even as most major Jewish organizations classify calls for a single state as an expression of antisemitism.
