Savannah Pride Center is hosting the ninth annual Stonewall at Starland Yard on June 27. Held in honor of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, the event is one of Savannah’s largest and most beloved Pride Month celebrations, attracting more than 2,000 community members, allies, local businesses, artists, and performers for a day of connection, visibility, and celebration.

“Stonewall is more than a celebration—it’s a reminder of where our movement began and the communities who paved the way,” Michael Bell, Executive Director of Savannah Pride Center, said in a statement. “At a time when LGBTQIA+ people continue to face challenges across the country, gathering in joy, visibility, and community remains a powerful act. We invite everyone to join us as we honor our history and celebrate the future we’re building together.”

This year’s event will feature more than 25 local vendors, food and drink offerings, live entertainment, music, dancing, and two signature competitions that highlight important elements of LGBTQ+ culture. These competitions are So You Think You Can Drag, which will showcase local drag talent, and the Stonewall Mini Ball, an open-to-all ballroom competition.

Stonewall at Starland Yard is free and open to the public. The event is Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m. at Starland Yard in Savannah, Georgia. More information can be found on Savanna Pride Center’s website.
