The Atlanta British Car Fayre returns to downtown Norcross on Saturday, Sept. 12, for its 25th anniversary, featuring more than 400 classic automobiles and motorcycles. This year’s featured British marque, or car manufacturer, is the iconic luxury brand — Jaguar.
From 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the historic city center will transform into a celebration of British culture, with vendors and downtown businesses selling British-themed knick-knacks, food, and beverages.
Back for the second year by popular demand, Beatles tribute band The Return and Atlanta cover band Whoz Rolling are performing on stage, while Atholl Highlanders Pipes and Drums USA march up and down Jones Street and South Peachtree Street.

This year’s Atlanta British Car Fayre awards will be presented on stage around 12:45 p.m. after judges look at each submission. Annual prizes include “Best in Show,” “Best in Show Owners Choice,” and “Featured Marque Owners Choice” for the car selected from the featured vehicle make, Jaguar. The public will be voting for best car and bike by scanning QR codes with their phones.
Festival organizers announced there may be changes to this year’s award show. Pre-registration and early arrival help the Atlanta British Car Fayre keep marques in designated areas.
According to event organizers, participants can access the registration area by following signs from Holcomb Bridge Road to Thrasher Street. A free shuttle bus will run throughout the event from Christ Episcopal Church at 400 Holcomb Bridge Road and Norcross City Hall at 65 Lawrenceville St.
On the day of the event, participants are charged $35 for the first car and $25 for each additional car. Motorcycle entries are $10 for the first two and $5 for the third. Registration began June 1.
Last year, the Atlanta British Car Fayre donated more than $3,500 to Norcross Ministries.
This year’s selected charity is the faith-based nonprofit Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries. The Norcross-based ministry provides emergency assistance to local families and those nearby in Peachtree Corners, Doraville, and Tucker.
