Rise Baking Company, a leading manufacturer for in-store bakeries and food service operators, has announced that it will be relocating its Innovation Center from Tucker to Atlanta after 20 years.

Rise’s Innovation Center will be relocating to 575 Main Street NE in the Lindbergh neighborhood of Atlanta after its current lease in Tucker ends later this year. The facility will be located in Uptown Atlanta, a 47-acre mixed-use district with nearly a million square feet of office space and 120,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space.

The new Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence will offer more than 30,000 square feet of combined office and R&D space.

The Innovation Center is currently located on 1912 Montreal Road in Tucker. A spokesperson for Rise told Rough Draft that the relocation would not impact jobs, and the company will continue operating its Tucker-based manufacturing facility.

“Our Innovation Center in Tucker has played an important role in Rise Baking Company’s growth over the past two decades, and we’re grateful to the community for being part of that journey,” the spokesperson said. “This relocation is an investment in a modern Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence designed to better support collaboration and innovation. Current employees will transition to the new location, and Rise will continue operating its manufacturing facilities in Tucker and Douglasville, maintaining a strong production presence in the Atlanta area.”

The Minnesota-based company is home to several brands, including Brill, South Coast Baking, Best Maid Cookie Company, and New French Bakery.
