Germany’s Great Bavarian Circus made its U.S. debut last Friday, with Atlanta performances continuing at Stone Mountain Park now through Sunday, March 31.  

Tickets are on sale now for the extravaganza that melds Oktoberfest with the circus. The Atlanta stop is part of the Bavarian Circus’ 18-city North American debut tour.

Performances include three generations of the Spindler family including their family-owned dachshunds. Producers and brothers Benjamin and David Spindler, are the ninth generation of one of Germany’s most illustrious circus dynasties, their work infuses the experience with authentic details from their home country.

When guests enter the bier hall, they can try German delights such as pretzels, sausages, potato pancakes and a selection of the finest Bavarian beers. A maypole adorned with colorful ribbons greets guests as they enter the Big Top tent, setting the stage for the celebratory opening number with the performers in traditional Bavarian costumes.

Germany’s Great Bavarian Circus features an award-winning European cast, including performers on silks and straps, dexterous jugglers, flipping trampoliners and acrobatic balancers. Presentations of spirited goats and loveable dachshunds bring smiles to the crowd while clowns will have the audiences roaring with laughter.
