Dear FoundHer coming to JCC
☀️ Billed as a post-40s girls night out, the Dear FoundHer tour with “Sunny and Jenn” is popping into Dunwoody on April 16 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta as founder Lindsay Pinchuk joins influencers Pam “Sunny” Sunshine and Jenn Sherman on stage.
Pinchuk created the event “because the world feels very heavy” and she wanted a space where women who really bear the brunt of it all could let it all go for a couple of hours, being surrounded by people who are just like them.

Holocaust Remembrance Day
🎗️ Eternal Life-Hemshech is holding the 61st annual Yom HaShoah commemoration at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 12 at the Memorial to the Six Million at Greenwood Cemetery.
Several Holocaust survivors will offer their thoughts on why Holocaust Remembrance Day is important in society today and why they continue to share their story.
“Hearing multiple survivors in one place at last year’s commemoration was so moving …” said The Breman Executive Director Leslie Gordon. “Amid today’s challenges in our country and the world, it’s heartening to be in their presence as they powerfully share the gifts of their strength and wisdom.”
📍The Atlanta community is invited to attend the ceremony, held rain or shine, at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Circle SW, Atlanta.

Ceasefire and political pressure test U.S.-Israel war pact
🇮🇱 Israel is in a precarious position following President Donald Trump’s sudden declaration of a ceasefire in the Iran war, say experts on security and the Middle East.
On Tuesday, April 7, Trump announced in a Truth Social post that he would declare a two-week pause to the war that began on Feb. 28, just an hour and a half before his ultimatum to Iran was set to expire. He had demanded that Tehran reopen the Strait of Hormuz — which had been closed for weeks, choking global energy markets — or face a catastrophic military assault, warning that “a whole civilization will die tonight.”
But Israel had other ideas.
