On Tuesday evening, May 8, about 1,000 people explored Buckhead businesses and restaurants at the third annual A Taste of Buckhead Business.
Attendees tasted food from 19 restaurants and heard about the services of 44 businesses all while walking through the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Buckhead – space the hotel donated for the event.
The event, put on by the Buckhead Business Association, succeeded in reaching the BBA’s goal of showcasing Buckhead businesses and restaurants to the community, said Sharon Silva, executive director of the BBA. “It gives them a great opportunity to showcase their work,” Silva said.
And Silva added that much of the success of the event was due to a steering committee headed up by event co-chairs, Elizabeth Gill of Express Personnel and Cindy Stewart of Pinnacle Pay.
“They did a fabulous job of making sure the event ran smoothly,” Silva said.
Silva said that the BBA is already looking forward to the fourth annual A Taste of Buckhead Business.
“It’s a fun event,” she said. “It grows each year and it’s a great opportunity for businesses and restaurants to get in front of the public in a high energy, entertaining atmosphere.”
