Following several months of interior and exterior renovations, Ray’s on the River, a Sandy Springs tradition on the Chattahoochee River, will unveil a new look reminiscent of a classic supper club with modern details and focal elements on July 23, according to Ray Schoenbaum, founder of Ray’s Restaurants, LLC.

Designed by Atlanta architectural firm Seiber Design, Inc., highlights of the makeover include water features at both the exterior and interior entry, a temperature-controlled wood clad wine wall, and travertine flooring with mosaic accent bands. The restaurant’s new bar area is separated from the main dining room by an internally illuminated “porthole wall”.

Guests will also enjoy an exterior makeover with along the river.

Live jazz will be featured in the restaurant’s new lounge five nights a week (Tuesday through Saturday). In addition to lunch and dinner, Ray’s will continue to serve its Sunday Brunch.

In conjunction with the restaurant’s re-opening, Tom McEachern will join Ray’s on the River as executive chef. Ray’s on the River is open for lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and for dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
