Is this the PATH I have known?

To the editor:

Reading your article about PATH and Tanyard Creek Park(“PATH may get okay to dissect historic Tanyard Creek Park,” Buckhead Reporter, July 27-Aug. 9), I thought this certainly doesn’t sound like the PATH I know.

As you related, when they built the trail near my home not far from Marietta Blvd., they worked with the neighborhood and used a wonderful boardwalk through the woods, saving every tree and leaving Whetstone Creek undisturbed. Our neighborhood also raised money and solicited donations to help this happen – have the folks around Tanyard offered to do this?

PATH is a fantastic resource to the Atlanta area and Georgia. I hope a solution can be found that satisfies as many people as possible.
