St. Regis taking shape in Buckhead

The St. Regis Hotel and Residences, located at 100 West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead, is beginning to take shape, but still has a way to go before the planned opening later this year. As of the first week of March, 45 of the 50 condominium residences making up the top floors of the 26-story building had already been sold at prices ranging from $3.4 million to $8.5 million. With only four condos per floor, each will have a corner view, large terrace and elevator, which will open directly into the condo’s foyer. Owners will have access to all of the hotel’s services. Starwood Hotels & Resorts, SR Hotel Development Company and Trammell Crow Residential are the development partners on the project.

Kairos Development notes topping out for The Astoria at the Aramore condos

Kairos Development Corporation recently celebrated the completion of the 15th floor of The Astoria at the Aramore, on Peachtree Road in Buckhead, last month at a topping out luncheon.

Project partners, development team members and general contractor Batson-Cook Construction staff attended the event.

Construction on the luxury mid-rise with 71 condominiums began in March 2007. The exterior finishes of the building are being completed while installation of the windows and doors begin.

With all floors now complete, construction is on schedule for resident move-in by summer 2008. Condos at The Astoria are priced from the $400,000s and penthouses are priced from the $900,000s.

The Astoria at the Aramore is 180 feet wide, 95 feet deep and rises 195 feet above ground level at 2277 Peachtree Road.

Harry Norman agents receive awards

Travis Reed, sales associate in Harry Norman, Realtors®’ Buckhead office, was named number one of the Company-wide Top 25 Sales Associates of the Year for the second year at the company’s Annual Awards’ Celebration held recently at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

Reed was named number one on the list of Top 10 Listing Sales Associates and number three company-wide among the Top 25 Sales Associates in units. He was also named Branch Listing Associate of the Year and Branch Sales Associates of the Year in both gross commission income and units for the Harry Norman, Realtors® Buckhead office. Reed received the Phoenix Award in 2007 in recognition of his 10 year membership in the Atlanta Board of Realtors® Million Dollar Club.

Other Buckhead office sales associates to receive awards at the annual event included: Janey Lowe, who was named number five among the companywide Top 25 Sales Associates of the Year and number on the list of companywide Top 10 Listing. Studie Young was named number three among the Top 25 Sales Associates of the Year and number three on the list of Top 10 Listing Sales Associates as well. Carol Young was named number two among the Top 25 Sales Associates of the Year and number two on the list of Top 10 Listing Sales Associates and number six company-wide among the Top 25 Sales Associates of the Year.

Beacham & Co. moves into expanded quarters

Beacham & Company, Realtors doubled its office space commitment this month, moving into a 7,815 square foot space in the newly constructed Medici building at The Piazza at Paces on Northside Parkway.

The new Beacham office, on the ground floor of the building, can accommodate more than 40 full-time agents along with nearly a dozen support staff.

Situated near the intersection of West Paces Ferry Road and I-75, The Piazza at Paces is a multi-phase, mixed-use development highlighted by Old World architecture. The Medici represents Phase II of the project.

Regions hires Fite as area production manager

Whitney L. Fite has joined Regions Financial Corporation as the area production manager for Regions Mortgage in the Atlanta marketplace.

Fite is a 15-year mortgage industry veteran and has been consistently ranked as one of the Top 5 Originators in Georgia during his career. Fite is charged with growing a significant mortgage presence throughout the Atlanta marketplace for Regions.
