downtown developmentThe 7th annual Downtown Development Day, dedicated to the appreciation of new developments in Atlanta, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the AmericasMart, Building Two, West Wing.  The event is hosted by Central Atlanta Progress in partnership with CREW Atlanta.  Mark Becker, the seventh president of Georgia State University, will give the keynote address.
As per tradition, the Atlanta Downtown Design Excellence Award will be given during the opening session.  One each of the five awards is given to the community, hotel, office, residential building, and restaurant/bar that features the most innovative and unique design.  Vote for your favorite design here through Oct. 19.
Among the events are seminars titled “Infrastructure Improvements in Downtown Atlanta; “A New Outlook on Real Estate Financing; and “What’s Ahead on the Horizon.”  The event will also feature a downtown development expo and optional tours of new Downtown developments.
Early Registration tickets are $45 each.  After Nov. 6, ticket prices increase to $55.  For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.AtlantaDowntown.com.  Attendees who wish to participate in the optional tour of new developments will need to purchase additional tickets for this for $15, $25 after pre-registration.  This ticket includes a boxed lunch and a one hour guided bus tour.
