Trees Atlanta will hold its 10th annual Tree Sale on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center, 225 Chester Ave. from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Trees Atlanta donors of $500 or more are invited to attend a preview shopping night the evening before the Tree Sale. Each October, Trees Atlanta offers more than 1,000 plants including 200 species of trees, shrubs and tree-friendly vines for purchase by the public. EarthShare of Georgia has launched its new and improved website, www.earthsharega.org. Designed and conceived by Realm Advertising, the website will feature EarthShare of Georgia Member Groups and the important work they do to conserve and protect the environment. The website has been refocused to include more information on how to start an employee giving campaign to benefit EarthShare of Georgia’s 62 member groups. There is also detailed information on all of the ESGA campaign partners, member groups, and ESGA’s three major Earth Day events in April.
Renewal Design Build and the Decatur Library, 215 Sycamore St., are co-hosting a series of free “Make Your Home Green” seminars on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Nov. 14, both at 10 a.m. The October event will focus on how green improvements and tax credits can save homeowners money.
