Atlanta fashion designer Bill Hallman has opened his first Buckhead store, Bill Hallman Studio, at 3400 Around Lenox Drive in the 1,000 square foot space that was formerly Blue Genes Kids. Bill Hallman Studio is the first in a roll-out of small neighborhood stores, customized to each area.  This one will offer a new collection of brands catering to the Buckhead fashionista. In addition to his own designs, the back of the store will house the designer’s first-ever open design studio featuring his internship program. The internship program will be comprised of fashion design students who will create six to eight original pieces – a mini collection – under his tutelage.  The pieces will be sold in the store under the interns’ own private label. www.billhallman.com.

Lara Hodgson, formerly with Dewberry Capital, has co-founded Nourish Inc., a patented line of bottled waters for babies and toddlers.  Nourish products are sold at airports, specialty retail stores, restaurants and other locations.  She invented the product and serves as the company’s CEO, overseeing all aspects of the company.www.nourish-inc.com.

Buckhead Pilates studio Core has opened a second location on the Westside at 1170 Howell Mill Road, Suite P-15 in the White Provisions development.
