comedy and tragedyEmory University’s Performing and Visual Arts students have been hard at work planning events for the month of December.  The numerous holiday happenings cover all areas of the arts, including music, dance, and visual arts.

The Seventeenth Annual Atlanta Celtic Christmas Concert, directed by James Flannery, will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Dec. 11-13 at 2:30 p.m. in the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts.  Admission is $25, $10 for students.

Throughout the month of December, Emory will display “Picturing Home: Juried Photography Exhibition” in the Emory Visual Arts Gallery.  A Juror’s Talk will be held after the Opening Reception on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.
