Barney is a 3-year-old, 15-pound long-haired Dachshund that was abandoned and picked up by two kind citizens. After they contacted Animal Control and spent weeks unsuccessfully attempting to find his owners, Barney was brought to Atlanta Pet Rescue to help him find the forever home he deserves. Barney is very outgoing and playful. He does well with children and other dogs.
Atlanta Pet Rescue is open Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. For more information about Atlanta Pet Rescue or how to adopt Barney or any of the 80-plus dogs, cats, puppies and kittens looking for homes, visit www.atlantapetrescue.org.
