The Buckhead Heritage Society has hired Erica Danylchak as its executive director.

Over the past five years, Danylchak has held several positions at the Atlanta History Center. She worked most recently as special projects associate at the Cherokee Garden Library.

In 2009, she and colleagues at Georgia State University received a Preservation Achievement Award from the Historic Preservation Division for work preparing the National Register nomination for the Collier Heights neighborhood in Atlanta. In addition, Danylchak received the Atlanta Urban Design Commission’s 2009 Jenny D. Thurston Memorial Award for her work on historic preservation in Atlanta.
