The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

 Aggravated assault

1100 block of Collier Road – Two men approached four people about to enter an apartment at 8 p.m. Feb. 9 and demanded to be let into the apartment. One of the men brandished a handgun and hit the victims several times with it, leading to a round being fired accidentally. The two assailants then fled.

1100 block of Collier Road – A man said his friend walked up to a light-colored vehicle and was shot by someone inside Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. The wounded man was admitted to Piedmont Hospital.

Robbery

3200 block of Lenox Road – Two masked gunman confronted a man walking in the stairway of his apartment complex Feb. 7 at 12:30 a.m. and demanded his money and other items. The gunman escaped on foot.

3300 block of Piedmont Road – A man approached a teller at Chase Bank at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 9 and demanded money. He showed that he had a weapon in his waistband. He escaped into a parking deck across the street.

2400 block of Camelia Lane – Two man held up a Papa John’s delivery man as he brought a pizza to an apartment Feb. 7 at 1:20 p.m. The victim did not see whether the men were armed. The person who ordered the pizza ducked back into the apartment, and the robbers ran away.

1200 block of Mackintosh Parkway – A woman got a cab ride home from a nightclub because she was too intoxicated to drive Feb. 7 at 3 a.m., but when the cab reached her home, she found that she didn’t have enough money to pay the fare. She said the cabdriver then punched her in the face and took her wallet.

Burglary

4300 block of Harris Trail – A window was removed from a home at a construction site overnight Feb. 9, and assorted tools were stolen.

4700 block of Millbrook Drive – A house under construction was broken into in early November, and a refrigerator, a stove, a faucet and a drawer warmer were stolen. The crime was reported Feb. 9.

4300 block of Paran Summit Court – An air conditioner, a refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave and an ice maker were taken from a Whitestone Custom Homes house between Jan. 18 and Feb. 9.

2300 block of Chastain Drive – A Post Chastain apartment’s front door was kicked in late Feb. 6 or early Feb. 7, and a safe, two flat-screen televisions, a stereo and two video game systems were taken.

700 block of Glengary Way – The back door of a home was kicked in Feb. 12, and a 50-inch television, a laptop computer, a video game system and jewelry were stolen.

3700 block of Peachtree-Dunwoody Road – An alarm sounded at a home at 12:56 a.m. Feb. 9, and police found the front door kicked in. A 32-inch flat-screen television was reported stolen.

700 block of Lindbergh Drive – A Sony PlayStation 3 game system, a computer and 20 DVDs were stolen from a home Feb. 10. An upstairs balcony door was found open.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A man was arrested at Bloomingdale’s just before midnight Feb. 10 after hiding out in the store until after it closed in an effort to steal more than $5,600 worth of merchandise.

700 block of Sidney Marcus Boulevard – The front door to an apartment was kicked in Feb. 8, and a flat-screen television, a camcorder, a digital camera, a watch, a DVD player and $2,000 in cash were stolen.

2200 block of Peachtree Road – An apartment was broken into between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8, and a laptop computer, a Wii game, a flat-screen television and an MP3 player were stolen.

2200 block of Virginia Place – A lock to a gate was cut at Isakson Living during the weekend of Feb. 5, and an edger, a weed trimmer, two ladders and copper were taken.

2600 block of Howell Mill Road – Power tools and fixtures were stolen from a construction site overnight Feb. 11.

2700 block of Defoors Ferry Road – A woman arrived at a Defoors Ferry Manor apartment Feb. 8 to find the door open and a computer, floor lamps and canned goods missing.

1700 block of Moores Mill Road – Copper piping was removed from the crawl space of a vacant home sometime between Aug. 15 and Jan. 20.

1400 block of Peter Haughton Way – The front door of an M West apartment was kicked in between Feb. 10 and 12, and a 50-inch television and two video game systems were stolen.

1300 block of Reitveld Row – A side door to a house was kicked in Feb. 7, and items including a television, two computers and an Apple iPhone were stolen.

400 block of Northside Circle – An apartment was broken into between noon and 2 p.m. Feb. 9, and a laptop computer was stolen.

Larceny from auto

Unit block of Old Ivy Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle late Feb. 6 or early Feb. 7, and a 32-inch flat-screen television and a bag were stolen.

3800 block of Roswell Road – A duffel bag full of clothing and an MP3 player were stolen from a black 2007 GMC Yukon late Feb. 6 or early Feb. 7.

3900 block of Roswell Road – A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle Feb. 9, and a restaurant reported finding the victim’s laptop bag without the computer.

4600 block of Wieuca Road – Five paintings were stolen from a vehicle around 11:20 p.m. Feb. 9. The owner said she may have left the vehicle unlocked.

800 block of Miami Circle – A window was broken out of a blue 2006 Toyota 4Runner between 8 and 9 p.m. Feb. 10, and a backpack, school books and a calculator were stolen.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A GPS unit, a cell phone and an MP3 player were stolen from a maroon 2003 Ford F-150 between 1:30 and 1:50 p.m. Feb. 10.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A GPS unit and clothing were stolen from a white 2005 Chrysler 300 at Lenox Square the night of Feb. 13.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – An MP3 player and a camera were stolen from a silver 2001 BMW M3 at the Lindbergh Vista overnight Feb. 12.

800 block of Sydney Marcus Boulevard – The Florida license plate was stolen off a silver 2008 Ford Focus at the Town Place Suites overnight Feb. 12.

3100 block of Paces Ferry Place – An MP3 player was stolen from a 2008 Acura RDX in the lot of Portofino between 1:40 p.m. Feb. 6 and 1:30 p.m. Feb. 7.

3100 block of Peachtree Road – A car was broken into late Feb. 6 or early Feb. 7, and items were stolen.

3200 block of Peachtree Road – A laptop computer was stolen from an orange 2007 Hummer between 8 and 9:15 p.m. Feb. 10.

3400 block of Piedmont Road – A DVD player was stolen from a blue 2000 Nissan Pathfinder at the Cambridge at Buckhead overnight Feb. 10.

100 block of Bagley Street – A purse was stolen from a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero at Frankie Allen Park on Feb. 13.

500 block of Main Street – An Apple iPhone and a Paul Mitchell hair-cutting kit were stolen from a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck between 11 p.m. Feb. 12 and 12:30 a.m. Feb. 13.

2700 block of Peachtree Road – A purse was stolen from a blue 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe outside Ponce de Leon Baptist Church around 9:40 a.m. Feb. 10.

2700 block of Peachtree Road – A purse was stolen from a red 2005 Honda Civic outside Ponce de Leon Baptist Church between 9:30 and 11 a.m. Feb. 10.

3100 block of Piedmont Road – A .45-caliber Glock handgun, three MP3 players, $5,000 in cash, and multiple debit and credit cards were stolen from a black 2003 Hummer outside Fogo de Chao restaurant Feb. 9 between 6:30 and 7:45 p.m.

600 block of Timm Valley Road – A purse was stolen from a gray 2006 Lexus R33 left unlocked outside a home overnight Feb. 7.

2300 block of Virginia Place – A briefcase and a laptop computer were stolen from a 2006 Honda Accord parked in a lot for 30 minutes the night of Feb. 8.

100 block of Peachtree Memorial Drive – A vehicle door was forced open late Feb. 7 or early Feb. 8, and items were stolen.

1100 block of Collier Road – A car stereo system was stolen from a 1997 GMC Suburban on the afternoon of Feb. 7.

2000 block of Bolton Road – The license plate was stolen off a green 1995 Toyota Camry while it was at Ralph’s Service Center from Jan. 16 to Feb. 8.

300 block of Ardmore Circle – A GPS unit was stolen from a white 1999 Honda Accord overnight Feb. 8.

2000 block of Peachtree Road – A firearm was taken from a vehicle Feb. 13.

Auto theft

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A blue 1990 Chevrolet sport-utility vehicles was stolen between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 10.

2600 block of Piedmont Road – A blue 1990 Jeep Cherokee was stolen between 1 and 5 p.m. Feb. 12.

3200 block of Roswell Road – A 2006 Mazda 3 was stolen from a parking lot between 1:30 and 3 p.m. Feb. 7.

3000 block of Peachtree Road – A white Lincoln Town Car and a black Dodge Charger were stolen around 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 after their keys were taken from the valet box at the Cheesecake Factory.

500 block of Main Street – A blue 1995 Cadillac Deville was stolen at Uptown Square between Feb. 6 and 10.

300 block of Peachtree Hills Avenue – Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old were arrested after a patrol officer spotted them looking through a truck Feb. 10 at 4:30 p.m. They refused to ride with the officer to a MARTA station, and the officer found the lock and steering column damaged.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – The lock and steering column on a silver 2001 Ford Taurus were damaged around 3 p.m. Feb. 5 in an apparent attempt to steal the car.

Other larceny

Unit block of Honour Circle – A red trailer was broken into overnight Feb. 9.

3400 block of Peachtree Road – A woman was arrested after trying to shoplift at Saks Fifth Avenue just before 5 p.m. Feb. 7.

3400 block of Lenox Road – A wallet was swiped from a woman’s bag in the ballroom at the Buckhead Marriott, and one of the credit cards in the wallet was used twice later.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A 17-year-old was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9 after a security camera caught him stealing two items from the California Bread Factory kiosk.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A 16-year-old was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9 after he tried to shoplift merchandise from Abercrombie & Fitch. He also had marijuana in his possession.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A woman’s purse was taken after she left it on a table at the Westin Hotel the morning of Feb. 9. One of her credit cards was used later.

3600 block of Peachtree Road – A man got away with stealing several items from Borders around 3 p.m. Feb. 11.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Bloomingdale’s at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 12.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A man was arrested at Target after trying to steal $174 in merchandise Feb. 9 at 1:15 p.m.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A man was arrested at Home Depot after trying to steal $234 in merchandise Feb. 11 at 2:15 p.m.

300 block of Buckhead Avenue – A water heater and several fixtures were stolen Feb. 8 or 9.

3100 block of Peachtree Road – A man’s bag, including his wallet, was stolen early Feb. 8 while he was at IHOP.

3400 block of Piedmont Road – A woman’s wallet was stolen from her purse sometime Feb. 10.

500 block of Main Street – A woman said she awoke at 10:40 a.m. Feb. 10 to find the maintenance man at Uptown Square in her apartment, going through her purse.

2200 block of Peachtree Road – A woman said a bracelet, leather briefcase and laptop computer were stolen from her home sometime since Dec. 4 while the home has been open to real estate agents and potential buyers.

2000 block of Peachtree Road – A man took another man’s wallet in a line at a gas station just before noon Feb. 10, and when the victim noticed his wallet was missing and accused the man who bumped him, the culprit threw the wallet on the ground and fled.

2800 block of Northside Drive – A student’s book bag, containing a laptop computer, an MP3 player and cash, was stolen from the gym at North Atlanta High School on Feb. 4.

900 block of Chattahoochee Avenue – Two men driving a white Dodge stole items from Frosty Treats Feb. 12.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man was arrested at Walmart after trying to steal $46 in merchandise Feb. 9 at 10:45 p.m.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – Two women were arrested at Walmart after trying to steal $27 in merchandise Feb. 13 at 2:30 p.m.

1500 block of Carroll Drive – A man who was interviewing for a job Feb. 8 stole the interviewer’s cell phone off a table while the victim stepped away. Surveillance captured the crime.

Unit block of Collier Road – A notebook computer went missing from an office overnight Feb. 11.

1900 block of Peachtree Road – An employee’s purse was taken from her locker at CVS on Feb. 9.

2000 block of Peachtree Road – A woman said $50 was taken off her dresser at the Darlington Apartments between Feb. 7 and 9. She said building maintenance had been in her apartment.

1900 block of Peachtree Road – Someone took $45 from an office’s petty cash box between Feb. 10 and 12.
