More than 75 businesses are expected to participate in the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber’s second annual Business Expo, scheduled for 12 noon to 7 p.m. March 4 at the Westin Atlanta North hotel in the Concourse office park at Hammond Drive and Peachtree-Dunwoody Road.
SS/PC board chairperson Debbie Goldman said this year’s expo will feature several new additions, including an aisle featuring “green” businesses and an aisle devoted to international business.
The event will begin with a luncheon featuring keynote speaker Rocky Romanella, UPS’s president of operations for the Southeast. The Expo Hall will open at 1 p.m. and an economic forecast seminar, featuring economist Dr. Roger Tutterow, will take place from 3-4 p.m. The day will end with a special “after-hours” networking event for exhibitors and Expo attendees.
“Our goal is to provide maximum exposure for our exhibitors by bringing hundreds of people to the expo,” said Sheri Wilburn, chamber president & CEO. “By adding the seminar and the luncheon, we feel there is a real takeaway for business professionals who attend.”
The expo is open to the public and registration and sponsorship forms are available on the expo Web site, www.sspcexpo.org. Parking and admission are free. Tickets for the luncheon are $50 and can be purchased on the Web site.
RBC Bank is the presenting sponsor for the Business Expo.
