Liza MinnelliSubscription packages for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s 2010 Delta Classic Chastain summer concert series at Chastain Park go on sale this morning at 10 a.m. Subscribers can pick blocks of shows that will be held on Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays over the summer.

Wednesday Nigh Series: Collective Soul (June 23), Art Garfunkel with the ASO (July 7), Heart (Aug. 18) and The B’52s with Blondie (Aug. 25).

Friday Night Series: Diana Ross (June 2), Liza Minnelli with the ASO (July 2), Boyz II Men with En Vogue (July 30), Cyndi Lauper (Aug. 6) and .38 Special with Drivin’ N Cryin’ (Aug. 13)

Saturday Night Series: Erykah Badu (June 5), Ringo Starr (July 10), Mary Chapin Carpenter (July 17), Chris Isaak with Marc Broussard (July 24), Queen with the ASO (July 31) and Charlie Wilson with Angie Stone (Sept. 11).

Subscription packages can be purchased in a Wednesday, Friday or Saturday series. For fans wanting to create their own series, they can choose the popular Take 5 or Take 3 whereas they pick their own series. Subscription packages are only available through the Delta Classic Chastain box office (2200 Encore Parkway) at 404.733.5012 and online at deltaclassicchastain.com. Single tickets will go on sale Monday, April 26, at 10 a.m. to the public.

    I would like to see Liza on July 2. I last saw her

    with Frank and Sammy in Houston in the mid 80’s.

    It was a Great evening. I’m 71 now, retired and

    am unable to purchase the entire package. Any

    information would be appreciated. Thank you.
