Aggravated assault

2600 block of Piedmont Road – Two men were arrested at 11 a.m. April 10 after fighting over a parking spot. One of the men pulled out a handgun while the other produced a wooden club.

2100 block of Peachtree Road – A woman said she entered Benihana restaurant at 6:30 p.m. March 24 and saw a former co-worker. When she tapped the former co-worker on the shoulder to say hello, the woman hit her in the back with a plate, then hit her in the face.

100 block of Peachtree Hills Avenue – A woman said her drunken daughter pulled a knife and threatened to kill her during an argument April 7.

Larceny from auto

Unit block of Jefferson Hill Place – A school-issued laptop computer was stolen from the back of a car overnight April 5.

100 block of West Wieuca Road – A car door was forced open midday April 3 at Chastain Park, and $100 and credit cards were stolen. An attempt was made to use one of the stolen cards at a QuikTrip in Conyers.

100 block of West Wieuca Road – A window was smashed out of a silver Mercedes-Benz at Chastain Park between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. April 4, and a laptop computer, a hard drive, a watch and a digital recorder were stolen.

3400 block of Buckhead Loop – A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle overnight April 9.

3400 block of Buckhead Loop – Several items were stolen from a vehicle early April 6.

Unit block of Old Ivy Road – Three unlocked vehicles were broken into overnight April 5, and a pair of sunglasses and a checkbook were stolen from one of them.

Unit block of Old Ivy Road – A white 2008 Land Rover was broken into overnight April 5, but it wasn’t clear whether anything was taken.

Unit block of Old Ivy Road – A window was broken out of a silver 2003 Nissan Sentra the night of April 8, and a laptop computer, an MP3 player and a pearl necklace were stolen.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A vehicle was broken into while parked at the Grand Hyatt between 4:30 p.m. April 4 and 1 a.m. April 5, and items were stolen.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – Items were stolen from a vehicle at the DoubleTree Hotel early April 5.

3300 block of Piedmont Road – Items were stolen from a 2003 Chevrolet late April 8 or early April 9.

4600 block of Wieuca Road – Four vehicles were broken into overnight April 5. In each, items were moved around, but nothing appeared to be missing.

900 block of East Paces Ferry Road – A rear window was broken out of a blue 2004 Land Rover Discovery on April 5 or 6, and a pair of sunglasses was stolen.

700 block of Sidney Marcus Boulevard – A man left a laptop computer on the seat of his unlocked vehicle while he went into a convenience store around 10:30 p.m. April 8. When he came out, another man was taking the laptop, and he escaped.

100 block of East Andrews Drive – A laptop computer and a bag were stolen from a vehicle late April 5.

3000 block of East Shadowlawn Avenue – A window was broken out of a white 2008 Ford overnight April 9, and a laptop computer, a GPS unit and an MP3 player were stolen.

Unit block of Honour Avenue – A wallet was swiped from a black 2008 Saturn at the Brownstone at Honour early April 6.

3200 block of Peachtree Road – A laptop computer and a briefcase were stolen from a silver 2010 Dodge between noon and 2 p.m. April 7.

3200 block of Peachtree Road – A satellite radio and a GPS unit were stolen from a 2006 Dodge Charger early April 10.

100 block of Bagley Street – Windows were broken out of a green 2002 Honda Accord and a blue 2007 Toyota Matrix at Frankie Allen Park on April 4, and purses were stolen.

1700 block of Northside Drive – The wheels were stolen from a vehicle early April 6.

1000 block of Collier Road – A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle April 9.

1700 block of Northside Drive – A .45-caliber handgun was stolen from a car at Berkeley Heights on April 5.

1400 block of Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard – A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked, gray 2006 Ford F-150 at Restaurant Depot on April 7.

500 block of Northside Circle – A CD player, speakers and an amp were stolen from a gold 1998 Chevrolet C-1500 overnight April 8.

200 block of Ottley Drive – The license plate was stolen from an Atlanta Lighting & Supply vehicle between March 27 and April 8.

1900 block of Peachtree Road – A laptop computer and a GPS unit were stolen from a vehicle at Piedmont Hospital early April 6.

1800 block of Peachtree Road – A laptop computer was stolen from a silver 2009 Ford F-150 between 1 and 3 p.m. April 8.

2100 block of Peachtree Road – A bag of clothes and a car stereo were stolen from a white 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe on April 8.

2800 block of Lookout Place – A GPS unit was stolen from a gold 2000 Ford Explorer late April 9.

500 block of Trabert Avenue – A license plate was stolen from a vehicle between March 28 and April 6.

4100 block of Northside Parkway – A woman said her wallet was taken from her purse while she was away from her desk for a few minutes just after 10 a.m. April 5.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A woman said her cousin took her purse at 1 a.m. April 4.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A woman’s wallet was taken while she ate at the Tavern at Phipps the night of April 2.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – Two men were seen taking tags off merchandise at T.J. Maxx on April 6. They gave the items back when confronted, and they left before police arrived.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A woman and a 16-year-old girl were arrested around 5:30 p.m. April 6 for shoplifting at T.J. Maxx.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Belk at 3 p.m. April 7.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Old Navy on April 7.

3200 block of Lenox Road – A silver chain was taken from a dresser in a Metropolitan at Buckhead apartment April 3 or 4.

500 block of Main Street – A woman left her purse atop her car outside her apartment at 9 p.m. April 1. When she returned for the purse a few minutes later, it was gone.

500 block of Main Street – A woman put her purse down for a few minutes at a bar late April 3, and it was taken.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Bloomingdale’s at 5 p.m. April 5.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Belk at 4 p.m. April 7.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Macy’s at 4 p.m. April 9.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A woman set her cellphone on a counter at Zephora, and a man stole it April 10 at 9 p.m.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A man was arrested for shoplifting at Target just after 9:30 a.m. April 7.

2600 block of Piedmont Road – Recycled cooking oil stored in a 300-gallon tank was stolen from Griffin Industries sometime in March.

Unit block of Irby Avenue – A man had his wallet stolen by one of two women who gave him a ride early April 4.

Unit block of Irby Avenue – A man let three women play with his dog at the Five Paces Inn midday April 6. When he went into the bar, they left with his dog.

300 block of East Paces Ferry Road – Someone stole four doses of the painkiller Liaudid from a locked cabinet at the Center for Plastic Surgery on April 2. The cabinet was not forced open, so the culprit knew the combination to gain entry.

2200 block of Peachtree Road – A man was arrested at 11:30 p.m. April 10 for stealing a shopping cart from CVS Pharmacy.

500 block of Pharr Road – A wallet was taken from a man’s room at the Staybridge Suites while he slept overnight April 5.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A woman stole a tan Gucci purse from Neiman Marcus on April 5.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart around 7:30 p.m. April 10.

3200 block of Weston Place – Merchandise was stolen from the trunk of a vehicle parked in a driveway overnight April 5. Also stolen were the license plate decal, vehicle registration and insurance card.

2400 block of Bolton Road – An employee is suspected of taking copper from Skanska between March 31 and April 6.

2400 block of Bolton Road – About $60 worth of scrap copper was stolen from an unsecured area at the Atlanta water treatment plant April 7 or 8.

2400 block of Bolton Road – The copper wires and piping were stolen from six electronic water treatment pumps between March 31 and April 9.

1200 block of Collier Road – A man picked up his dry cleaning and left without paying just after 11 a.m. April 6.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man snatched a laptop computer from a woman at Starbucks and fled in a waiting car April 6 at 5:40 p.m.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man was arrested after trying to steal $93 in merchandise from Walmart the morning of April 8.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A woman was arrested at Walmart at 11:45 p.m. April 5 after concealing $55.17 worth of merchandise in her purse.

1800 block of Hollywood Road – Standard Concrete Products reported the theft of 2,000 pounds of rebar overnight April 5.

1500 block of Southland Circle – A man reported April 7 that he paid for a Honda Accord advertised on Craigslist, but he never got the car.

2100 block of Spink Street – A lawn mower was stolen from a yard April 10.

 Robbery

North side Parkway at Mount Paran Road – A woman jumped into a car at a traffic light just after 7 p.m. April 7 and told the driver that she needed a ride because her husband had a gun and was after her. The driver wanted to call the police, but the woman fought to put the car in drive and eventually took control, then quickly wrecked the car. Police suspect the woman in a Cobb County robbery.

Camellia Lane at Lindbergh Drive – Two men jumped a pedestrian at 5 p.m. April 9 and stole $150 from him.

1100 block of Collier Road – Three men robbed two other men at gunpoint in a parking lot late April 8.

 Auto theft

900 block of East Paces Ferry Road – A trailer was stolen between March 15 and 22.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A car was stolen from a valet lot around 7 p.m. April 7.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A 2002 Chrysler Sebring was stolen April 7 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

200 block of Pharr Road – A silver 2006 Ford F-250 was stolen late April 7, along with a .40-caliber handgun inside.

3300 block of Roswell Road – A vehicle was stolen from the Gramercy at Buckhead parking lot around 4:30 a.m. April 4, while nine other vehicles were broken into and had items stolen, including a handgun.

200 block of Triumph Drive – A vehicle was stolen overnight April 3 after the owner left the keys in the ignition.

2000 block of Bolton Road – A man jumped into a white 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe at a gas station April 4 at 1:45 a.m. in an effort to steal the vehicle, but the owner saw what was happening and jumped in as well. The would-be thief fled.

1200 block of Menlo Drive – A truck was stolen from the Standard Press loading dock overnight April 4.

900 block of Peachtree Battle Circle – A 2000 trailer was stolen from a driveway between April 3 and 6.

1500 block of Chattahoochee Avenue – A white 1998 trailer was stolen overnight April 6.

 Burglary

3700 block of Powers Ferry Road – The front door to a house was kicked open April 7, and a flat-screen television and jewelry were stolen.

2100 block of Piedmont Road – A laptop computer, an MP3 player and software were stolen from a U-Haul storage unit sometime between Dec. 15 and March 28.

200 block of Buckhead Avenue – A man was arrested at a Belfour Beatty Construction work site at 4 a.m. April 8 while he and another man were trying to load a large amount of stolen copper wire into a brown Dodge van. The accomplice escaped.

Unit block of Park Circle – Two personal computers were stolen from a home late April 6 or early April 7.

Unit block of Peachtree Avenue – A television was stolen from an apartment April 5 or 6.

Unit block of Peachtree Battle Avenue – The front door of a house was kicked in April 8, and a desktop computer and a flat-screen television were stolen.

2100 block of Virginia Place – Cameras, televisions, computers and jewelry were stolen from a house and its guest house April 9 or 10. There were no signs of forced entry.

1300 block of Peachtree Battle Avenue – A television and a laptop computer were stolen from a house after the front door was broken between March 31 and April 5.

2000 block of Hollywood Road – A desktop computer, jewelry and a debit card were stolen from an apartment between April 6 and 8. There were no signs of forced entry.

1900 block of Peachtree Road – A window was broken at the Black Bear Tavern just after 5 a.m. April 4, and televisions were stolen.
