The International Committee of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber has adopted a new logo for use in attracting international business to the community. The logo projects Sandy Springs as “The Global Gateway” for international business.
According to George Bergmark III, chair of the committee and partner with B2B CFO, three goals are to attract international businesses to locate in the Sandy Springs/Perimeter area, to assist local companies doing or wanting to do business overseas, and to generate economic development for the area.
Bergmark also said the chamber committee is developing a Global Business Perspectives Series, which may provide quarterly luncheons and seminars. One would be associated with the chamber’s International Awards meeting and dinner, planned for Nov. 18.
