North Atlanta High School is getting a makeover this summer. The work started June 1 and will be done in time for the start of classes in August, said Jere Smith, director of capital improvements for the Atlanta Public Schools. The work is part of a $28.9 million renovation project that began last year. Work this summer includes painting, installation of new plumbing, air conditioning and heating systems and renovation of some classrooms and offices, Smith said.
