Now you can stick up for Sandy Springs.

The Sandy Springs Police Department is selling stickers for people to place on the back windows of their cars.

The oval stickers — similar to the “HHI” stickers indicating an appreciation for Hilton Head Island, S.C. —  are decked out in Sandy Springs’ signature colors, blue and green. The letters “SSG,” which stand for Sandy Springs, Ga., are superimposed over a stylized river.

Sandy Springs City Attorney Wendell Willard said he hopes the stickers become a symbol of people who live and work in Sandy Springs.

The stickers require a $10 minimum donation to the police department’s Benevolent Fund, which helps needy police officers and their families.

People can buy the stickers at Sandy Springs Police Headquarters, 5995 Barfield Road, and the Sandy Springs Gun Club and Range, 8040 Roswell Road. City officials also plan to sell the stickers at the Sandy Springs Festival in September.
