On Nov. 4 just before 6 p.m. Sandy Springs Police Department and the fire department responded to an auto accident. The driver of a Mercedes, while driving in the parking lot in front of 22 Cedar Run at the Azalea Park Apartments, was momentarily distracted and clipped a pickup truck. The driver lost control of the Mercedes and drove into an apartment. The driver of the car was checked for complaints of neck pain. The occupants of the apartment were not home at the time of the accident. The driver of the car, Robert Williams, 44, of Cedar Run, Sandy Springs, was not charged in the accident.
