300_1388.NEFThe Euclid Arts Collective will be hosting a studio tour and art sale at the Little 5 Points Community Center (1083 Austin Ave, at the former Moreland Elementary School in Inman Park).

The public is invited to this free tour of 5 working art studios, where you can meet 16 local artists, and enjoy a wide selection of unique artwork, including silver & gold jewelry, decoupage on glass, watercolors, ceramic sculpture, photographs, drawings, collage, figurative paintings of fiber, acrylic & other mixed media, hand-turned decorative wood, hand-woven wearables & other textile arts, gourd vessels, bookmarks and ornaments.

Award-winning glass artist Matt Janke, guest of Studio 102, will demonstrate the 2000-year-old art form of glass blowing on Saturday afternoon (Sunday rain date) at the corner of Euclid and Austin Avenues.  Spectators will be able to witness the process of working in this molten medium from start to finish and to ask questions during the demonstration.  Other artists include MB Andrews, Carla House, Michelle Jordan, Henry Leonard, TW Meyer, and guest artists Obayana Ajanaku, Kathy Colt, Cathryn P. Cooper, Yvonne Dauria, Jessica Sabatine Diaz, April Hart, Judy Parady (work pictured), Bob and Christine Stanton, and Pamela Thompson
