The Atlanta, Fulton and DeKalb public school systems plan close on Wednesday, Jan. 12 due to the continuing hazardous road and travel conditions, the districts announced. Atlanta announced in a press release that after-school, extracurricular and sports activities and events also are canceled. DeKalb school officials said a public input workshop scheduled for Jan. 12 at Druid Hills Middle School will be rescheduled. Schools previously closed Monday, Jan. 10, Tuesday, Jan. 11, because of the weather.
