A court hearing has been cancelled for the man arrested in the Nov. 18 slaying of a Dunwoody father who was shot after dropping his 2-year-old off at day care.
The preliminary hearing for Hemi Neuman was scheduled for Feb. 8, but the DeKalb County district attorney’s office announced the evening of Feb. 7 that the hearing had been cancelled. No reason was given for the cancellation.
Neuman is accused of murdering Russell Sneiderman, who was shot repeatedly as he walked through a parking lot outside the Dunwoody Prep day care.
DeKalb District Attorney Robert James is scheduled to make a statement about the case at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 8.
