The Westminster Girl Scout Troops have raised more than $1,500 for relief efforts in Japan.
The scouts sold Japan relief T-shirts, patches, wristbands and food to amass the $1,537.11 that will aid those affected by Japan’s recent natural disasters.
The third grade Brownie troop presented the money raised to Yoshi Domoto, executive director of the Japan-America Society of Georgia. The contributions will go directly to the victims of the Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan.
