Radio personality Frank Ski has won tacit approval from his neighbors for his plan to open a restaurant on Peachtree Road.
Although NPU-C, the neighborhood planning group considering Frank “Ski” Rodriguez’ request for a liquor license, did not muster a quorum for a formal vote during its July 5 meeting, NPU-C Chairman Paul Melvin said he would inform city officials that no one spoke against the request.
Ski said he plans to open a restaurant at 2110 Peachtree Road, near its intersection with Bennett Street. The building has housed Mick’s and Thirsty Dog Tavern restaurants in the past. “It’s a great location,” the V-103 morning show personality said.
He said he hopes to open the restaurant in August. It is to be called Frank Ski’s.
