Attendance at the Dunwoody Music Festival fell below projections, according to Bill Grant, chairman of the board for the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce.

Grant said though exact figures aren’t available yet, the organization had hoped for a larger crowd.

“Attendance and ticket sales were less than we expected and we’re a little disappointed,” Grant said. “I think it’s got a lot to do with everything else going on this weekend. It fell short of our expectations.”

Despite the low turnout, Grant said the event went very smoothly.

“The general consensus was the music was great and the folks who came enjoyed it,” Grant said. “I think the quality of the music we had this year was significantly better.”
