Buckhead History Day – Sunday, October 30

3-6 p.m. – The Buckhead Heritage Society and the Blue Heron Nature Preserve sponsor a history day for the neighborhood. Come ready to share recollections and information about North Buckhead! There will be recording of oral histories, and scanning of documents and photographs related to the neighborhood, for possible use in future educational programming and publications. The Blue Heron Nature Preserve property, Barrett’s Mill, Eidson’s Mill, Peachtree Gardens, Turner’s Corner, the Harrington Estate, Carmain Farm, Loridans Farm, the cemetery on Loridans Drive and Wiley Moore areas are of particular interest.
