The city of Augusta, Ga., is interviewing candidates for its next fire chief and the city’s administrator is calling on the expertise of an old colleague, Sandy Springs Fire Chief Jack McElfish.
The Augusta Chronicle Reports that City Administrator Fred Russell worked with McElfish in Richomond, Va., where McElfish previously served as fire chief.
The Chronicle reports that the Sandy Springs fire chief helped interview three candidates for the job.
