The city of Sandy Springs wants to know if its residents are happy with the city’s permitting process.
According to a statement released on Feb. 16, the city recently began a program where builders, homeowners and developers can tell the city’s Community Development Department how well it is handling permit applications.
City staff will distribute business cards with Quick Response codes, known as QR codes, that will prompt the user to answer a nine-question survey. The cards will also contain a web address so users can take the survey online.
The survey asks users to rank their experience from “very satisfied” to “not satisfied” and asks questions about customer service, the time spent waiting for service, the city’s website and the fees customers pay. See the whole survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/COSScdpermitting
“Customer service is a priority for the City. We want to know what we are doing well, as well as what the areas are that we need focus on in order to improve the services we provide,” Sandy Springs City Manager John McDonough said in a press release.
