Finding something to do in Atlanta this weekend won’t be difficult. There will be music festivals at Oakland Cemetery, Auburn Avenue, Centennial Park and the giant Atlanta Streets Alive festival to keep you entertained. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather, check your GPS for alternate routes and enjoy!

The Sweet Auburn Music Festival runs from Friday, May 18 to Sunday, May 20 along Auburn Avenue. Musical acts will include Ruben Studdard, Regina Belle, K-Jon, Elle Varner, The Nevel Sisters, Smokie Norful, Vic Wobble, Urban Mystic, Canton Jones, Veronica Petrucci, Antoine Dunn, Q. Tunes from the Tombs is a unique two-day music festival at historic Oakland Cemetery on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20. Peter Case The line-up includes Peter Case, The Whiskey Gentry, Lucy Dreams, Abby Wren and What It Is, NBC’s The Voice contestant Rebecca Loebe, Ocha La Rocha, The Villain Family, Young Orchids, The Clap, Ghost Riders Car Club, Blake Rainey and his Demons, 4th Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra, Alexa Woodward, Jon Byrd, Geoff Achison and the Souldiggers, Sol Junky, The Bonaventure Quartet, Leticia Wolf, Stephen Simmons, and many more. Party in the Park at Centennial Olympic Park is Saturday, May 19 featuring The Flaming Lips, Young the Giant, AWOLNATION and Dawes. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and can be purchased through Ticket Alternative online at ticketalternative.com. Atlanta Streets Alive will take  over a two-mile stretch of North Highland Avenue from 2-6 p.m. (and those two-miles will be closed to cars, so plan an alternate route). Visitors can expect a blend of outdoor activities such as cycling, rollerblading, skateboarding, hula-hooping, yoga, kickboxing, and bootcamps to more cultural activities such as “theatre on the move,” various a cappella groups, marching bands, choirs and bicycle art. The Great Atlanta Bicycle Parade will begin at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Highland and North, go to Virginia Avenue then loop back for a victory beverage at Manuel’s Tavern.
