The Atlanta Pride Committee will host a series of events from June 5 – 30 to mark Stonewall Month, which is considered the beginning of the modern gay rights movement in America.

Highlights include a book discussion about civil rights pioneer Bayard Rustin on June 5 at Charis Books & More; a screening of the film Legalize Gay on June 11 at Midtown Art Cinema; an information session on LGBT Health Insurance on June 20; Doc Chey’s in Grant Park will host a Dine Out for Pride on June 22; a Pride Seder on June 22 presented by Congregation Bat Haverim; the eighth annual Evenign for Equality at Twelve Hotel in Atlantic Station on June 22; the Pride Run on June 23 at Piedmont Park and much more.
